![]() ![]() Especially if you're nervous or in pain, sweat from your hands can irritate the newly exposed follicles and give you tiny infections. Speaking of gloves, even though you're doing your own waxing, I still highly recommend using gloves. I also like to make "tabs" on the back of my (gloved) hand to stick to the pulling end of the wax so I don't have to flick much if at all. I like using calendula hard wax - its a pearly white color and its THICK so there is less breaking. Personally, I really really hate the brazillian hard wax you used. Oh and a p.s.: Since I bought all this stuff- waxing arm hair? I have somewhat hairy arms, not very dark hair but a lot of it. ![]() and pulling up the hard wax, but not pulling hard enough on the first go and then ending up with the painful, wax stuck to my bits, bleeding, wtf do I do from here moments. Are there any must have or would be helpful products (salon brand or at home/cheaper workarounds that are just as good?)Ī couple of the specific problems I ran across are the hard wax breaking as I try to pull it up. so I don't think that it's necessarily I'm doing anything wrong.just that I can't handle inflicting this much pain on myself.haha.īut maybe you all can give me some tips I've overlooked, or something to help me be able to do this. I've only ever gotten a salon brazilian once, and it was pretty excruciating. I used the anesthetic spray, took 3 aleve about an hour beforehand and still didn't manage to get hardly anything done before I was whimpering, bleeding (that can't be good?!) and quitting. But, apparently I'm a big baby and can't handle it. However, my number one reason for buying all this junk is to do at home brazilians. Waxing my underarms and legs was a huge success (yay!) I also grabbed some pre epilation oil and anesthetic numbing spray. I invested in a Gigi at home wax warmer, as well as an all purpose honee wax and a brazilian body hard wax.
